Well now you get the chance. Please donate to help out and you can even watch the event at Stony Brook on Apr 3rd (if you don't live in the area I will have one of my friends video it and I'll even post it on Phatmass). I remember my mom telling me that he had hair PRIOR to his role as King Mongkut of Siam in Anna and the King of Siam... .but he had to shave his head for the role. Sooooooo that means you'll donate, right? :{P No worries, dear. Everyone does what they can. Early last year I didn't have funding and I had to temporarily give up donating money because I honestly didn't have anything left to give. I was lucky that I was still able to donate time, but after a few weeks that ran out too lol. I know you'd be able to raise a ton of money shaving your head. It's a cool thing for a dude to shave his head in solidarity, but it's amazing when a young lady like yourself is able to give so fully like that. You're certainly far from being alone in not wanting to do so, but that's also part of what makes it so powerful. I'd be really tempted to do this at some point... maybe if I go back to short hair and I have the opportunity. Right now it's taken me over 6 years to get long, I'm too chicken to cut it and have to wait another 5+ years to get close to where I'm at now. The money goes towards research, not to advocacy or to another group that gives out money to fight cancer, it goes directly to cancer research.
