maximillion Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 No because we already had Mother's Day here in the UK (March 15th). TPBM ate Roast meat for lunch.
AnneLine Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 (edited) Close but no cigar! We had eggs and corn beef, but it was BOILED and then Barbecued... and it was YUMMY!!!!! TPBM knows why I chose my current avatar for Good Shepherd Sunday... and who is in the picture! Edited May 12, 2014 by AnneLine
Not A Mallard Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 1. Looks like a shepherd. 2. Nope. TPBM know where Right into the back of a gahbage truck! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! is from.
AnneLine Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 well.. yes, and specifically, it's Peter Ginn from The Victorian Farm, Edwardian Farm and Wartime Farm programs....... and he is my icon for what The Good Shepherd would be like.... quiet, patient, always watching out for his flock..... Certainly seems like the Good Shepherd to me! I have NO clue where your quote is from, but it doesnt' sound like trash talk. TPBM is having something delicious for their next meal.....
Not A Mallard Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 No idea. It's from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, as Raphael reenacts Shredder's "death" from the previous film. TPBM remembers the most random things from his/her childhood movies.
ChristinaTherese Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Like that I got headaches if I watched them for more than 30 minutes (which was the length of Veggie Tales movies), but I managed to get so interested in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang that I didn't take a break once and somehow I either didn't get a headache or I didn't care so much?TPBM is close (not meaning physically) to at least one sibling.
Spem in alium Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Yep. To all of them, I'd say. TPBM is a sports fan.
Credo in Deum Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Nope, I can't stand sports. TPBM sings in a schola.
maximillion Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 No, but I used to. Schola Gregoriana based in Cambridge UK. TPBM uses a moisturiser.
TheresaThoma Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 During the winter yes but right now with the humidity I don't think my skin could take or needs the extra moisture. TPBM has been out of their home country
Credo in Deum Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Yes, I do not understand what the big deal is with that show. TPBM likes ranch dressing.
maximillion Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 False, I've had a few in my time.....not to be wished for! TPBM has first aid knowledge.
maximillion Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Oh, well, I'm not sure I want to buy one. I see a lovely mama duck and her ducklings most days on the estuary. She had 12 but after the big storms we had the last few days, now down to 11. Last year she raised 15. TPBM wants to visit Harrod's in London.
ChristinaTherese Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Of course! Well, actually there are quite a few I love, both from my Protestant upbringing and Latin chants. We never sing ant of them at Mass, but it'snot that I mind the ones at Mass or even that I don't like them, it's simply that they're not my favorites.TPBM stays after Mass to make a thanksgiving for the Eucharist.
Not A Mallard Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 (edited) I'm guilty of not doing that. Ironically, my favorite hymn is Catholic (though I was raised that way): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsqmrbntiTQ TPBM is scrupulous. Edited May 14, 2014 by Not A Mallard
TheresaThoma Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 From time to time, like right now I feel like I have a major case of scruples about how I am living in community and doing my job. I just trust that it will pass here eventually. TPBM likes silence in the mornings
