I remember seeing that Church on a tour of Charleston.  It's beautiful and has a feeling that a lot of prayer has happened there.  It's going to need an exorcism after this thing.

The guy just has such a creepy vibe. How are people like this not noticed ahead of time? I guess he was acting like a weirdo but nobody reported it. Then again it's not against the law to be weird nor should it be I guess.  

I noticed the discussion has immediately focused on the Confederate flag. Which, really? I don't like it either.  But if you get rid of it from the Confederate War Memorial that action will not magic away the beliefs this person had which can be found in society. That would require something harder. It's just strange how the media pivoted as one to this IMO fairly peripheral issue. It's like in Europe where if you ban the swastika you find out that doesn't get rid of neo-nazism.

That's my point, you can ban symbols all day long and that doesn't do anything to solve the real problem.

That little piece of excrement is the reason the electric chair was invented, and I hope they put him in a cell with a big black man, as he awaits his fate.  May God have mercy on his soul.

It's a shame, though, that people, including our Dear Leader, immediately started politicizing this horrible act and tragedy.

Unlike the pc phatmass, crowd, I have no problem with the Confederate flag, and own several.  The War between the States was much more complex than the pc parrots make it to be, and the Confederacy was about more than slavery - many switched to the Southern side because of what they saw as tyrannical oppression by the Federal government against the right of states to secede.

Neither banning flags and other forms of legitimate free speech/expression, nor banning firearms, is the solution.  The conversion of hearts and minds is.
