Okay I'm finally bouncing my way into this topic. I completely agree with the fact that this practice of "altar gather" should be abolished. Only members of the clergy and those who have a designated role during the Consecration.

hey ryan but yeah i understand ur stance philippe but then thats kinda like saying, whats more important in a person, the way that they dress, or their personality, u get me? i was saying, what would Jesus care MORE about? but yeah brodes also brought this to my attention

Most of the teens dont understand why they are going up there. which ya, degrades the purpose, i like doing it, but yeah i guess it should gone too. im gonna miss it, but yeah i understand. btw cant i be that close to christ in adoration?

No way. Not to sound like I'm busting in on your personal life, but I do read the Resistance thread, and I know that you have trouble. I know that you're constantly frustrated when you fall and that you come running back to Christ every time. I look up to you immensely for that, and I pray for you all the time. philippe, i understand that the clothing that girls are wearing is an isue to u, but.....do u really think that if jesus was watching our mass, he would be more disgusted with the clothes? or do u think he would smile and be happy to see so many teens up at the alter, and yes. Good, glad these abuses are going to be dealt with. Unfortunately there isn't a Lifeteen group near me, nearest one (in VA, have to check NC, live near the border) is about an hour drive.

i completely understand how the going to the alter can offen people (i mean it offends my dad, i just found out lol) but would it still be wrong of in the front of church all the teens go into the front pews and sit there... or does that also distract or seperate us from the rest of the congregations... imean we wont be possesive... just like we all sit there

Its nice to be part of a special group and sit up front, but on the other hand, think of how awesome it would be to just be part of the congregation and be an example of holy reverence to the entire Church.
