I don't appreciate this. It's one thing to make a googlebot for humor because it's aimed toward making fun of googlebot...it's another when you post things that you don't need another personality for.

second off: the whore of babylon was a codename for the Roman Empire during the time of persecution.

the book of revelation has threefold meaning:

one is that it was a coded message of hope against the Roman Empire which was persecuting them at the time. 666 refers to Emporer Nero in Hebrew numerical letters. it prophesied Rome's fall.

second, it's a prophecy that relates to the history of the Church. in this case the Church continually defeats antichrists that arise.

thirdly, it's a prophecy about the endtimes. the whore of Babylon may or may not be centered in ROME, there's no reason to assume it must. the code-word refering to Rome was used for the first meaning. the geographical location of Rome has not been the location of the antichrists that have risen up against the church for millenia, what reason do we have to assume the final one will be in geographical rome. they've been in Turkey, the Middle East, Russia, Germany, China... the antichrist could rise from anywhere. but it will come and persecute the Church such that it rivals Rome's original persecution of us. Judge by the fruits: china or the arab terrorists have more of a chance of being the antichrist than the Roman Catholic Church. they're the ones persecuting Christians.

1. Interfaith Relations are not advocating one world religion. Neither the Catholic Church nor the other involved religions believe us to be calling ourselves one world religion. We believe in different things. By the very definition of "interfaith," we acknowledge that there are at least two faiths, religions, involved, and so you are either intrinsically incorrect or you use a misnomer.

Recall that Rome controlled almost all the known world of that time. Recall that Rome was not only involved in world wide politics with kings, but also had many sexual scandals (e.g. fornication). Recall that in Rome, red was the color of the military and purple was the color of the nobles. Recall that the ancient Greek texts display the anti-Christ with the number value of 616 and the Latin with the value of 666. Doesn't it seem interesting that 616 and 666 equal the letter value of the name of Nero in each respective language?

How does the papacy relate to these things?
