The Anti-Christ will claim to have the authority of Christ, but will not truly have it. Thus, to make his claim more authentic, he will need to overtly take on the appearances of Christ. Thus any symbol that overtly denotes the AC will also denote Christ himself. Of course, the AC will be evil, whereas Christ is good . . . so if you can make a case that the Catholic Church is evil, you might have a leg to stand on. MorphRC Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 And I was just thinking about the colour purple. Its ironic and extremely symbolic that Purple was a colour of sinfulness and distrust in God, but the Church has made it to be the colour of penance, asking God and trusting Him to forgive you.

[/quote] Hyperman, Have you even ever read the Entire "Book of Revelation?" If so you'd realize its a increditable highly complex book. That Tells Events From Past, Present, and Future? Not only do you have to look at it from that prospective, if you to Apply God's Point of View over yours and yours may be slightly different than God's Prepsective, but You sould Look at it from the LORD's point of view, after all it is "His" Word, "His" Point of view on things. Basically what I'm trying to say is, you souldn't go posting threads on information you may know nothing or alittle about. What Evidence do you offer? and if its good Evidence, proof it thats really Christ's Propspective and not Fiction.

White Knight Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 I said no such thing about the TRCC not seeing God's prepsective on things, I'm simplly saying thats how all Christians sould see it, Its not Our Word, Its not our view, its GOD's, HIS View, HIS WORD not ours. When you read the Bible you have two prepectives on it, you have yours, and you have God's, you must always ALWAYS ALWAYS, Apply God's point of View over yours, because hes Always right. Man's views can be false too, but God's aren't, do you have to apply His Truth, over "our so called version of the Truth." The Bible is The LORD's WHole Truth, from his prepsective.

When someone makes comments like "but You sould Look at it from the LORD's point of view" it implies that we are not looking at it from the Lord's point of view. I don't appreciate that charge. Who is to decide what is the Lord's point of view is anyway? Is not the Church the official interpreter of scripture?

I said no such thing about the Catholic Church not having God's Prepsective on things, I never did at all, I just said theres many ways to look at the Bible, Your Way, and God's Way, you can understand God's word with your prepspective to a certian degree, but With God's Prepsective you get a higher understanding of it and its Superior to our view point. We can look at the Bible, through out view and God's View point, but We MUST, ALWAYS, Apply his View over ours, for His cannot be wrong. Would you agree with that?
