thicke Posted June 27, 2004 Share Posted June 27, 2004 There is a constant rumor that L Ron Hubbard invented the Scientology religion because of a bar bet he made with Robert Heinlein over how much money he could make by starting a religion. The fact that this rumor is disproved by it being out of character for Heinlein, instead of by a careful examination of the "doctrine" of the "church" of Scientology, should tell you something.
