On the Importance of Having a Serious Signature

Thy Geekdom Come

After some great deal of consideration, I have decided that it is vital to the life of a respectable Catholic website that it present itself in a clearly professional manner.

This is why it is important for us not to be lame. Our newfound unlameness (or "coolness," as it were) must be reflected in every possible way in our profiles and posts.

We must strive to acheive this degree of professionalism which would be expected of members at any rank or holding any office.

Please notice that my avatar is quite serious, and I believe I reflect this well in it.

The rules of engagement are clear:

We must encourage orthodoxy.

We must promote the traditions and values of the Church.

We must bring the youth to God as their spiritual elders.

We must hold the maturity which our Catholic faith demands of us.

We must be uniform in our approach.
In all of these, the serious and professional demeanor I am advocating is only respectable. Please keep this in mind as you go about your work today:

We speak for the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. Therefore, we must present ourselves accordingly. We must behave. We must conform to the rules of conduct. We must be respectful of one another and of our mutual faith and heritage.

Please keep all of this in mind, my colleagues, in choosing your signatures. Let them be conformist and serious. Professionalism always wins converts.

In the Love of Christ,

Micah
Former Moderator of the Lame Phorum and Recent Convert to Conformity and Seriousness.

Micah, very true. I am impressed, especially, by the profound nature of your own signature. Verily, it is an inspiration to us all, providing a vivid metaphor for the Faith.

-Veronica, conformist at heart.

Now... you've gone and hurt my feelings. :o

Dear, I wasn't hitting on you... simply praising your many virtues.

Life can be cruel, can't it. :sadder:
