traichuoi Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 i don't know if i am alone in thinking this...but although the physical death of our Holy Father is near, and our humanity causes us to be sad, I can't help but think how exciting this must be for a man who has given his entire self to our Lord to soon be seeing His Creator.

LSW Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 CNN is reporting that PJP2 has died. This is coming from Reuters. I never thought that I would brake down the way I did.
Dudette Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005
*grins* that's a happy thought
Agreed.
XIX Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 Let's NOT get presumptuous on him...if nothing else, the Pope could still need 7 minutes of purgatory or something.I mean the man is a saint as far as I'm concerned. But we aren't soul-readers.
BrightSunshine Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005
of course, I know it hasn't yet hit the news, and even then, we should not say it is "official" until the Vatican has said so, but I thought it wise to give people some notice ahead of time
Actually it is on the news.
stargirl3:16 Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 When he does die, I bet he'll see Terri there in heaven.
Lil Red Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 yes they do...they say they regret to announce the passing of Pope John Paul II
Ash Wednesday Posted April 1, 2005 Posted April 1, 2005 I believe he is a saint but I know for a fact he would want our prayers.
