The announcement came after about 32 hours of deliberations. The verdict will be read at 1:30 p.m. (4:30 p.m. ET). The one-hour delay in delivering the verdict allows Jackson time to arrive at the Santa Maria courthouse.
dUSt Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 If he's guilty, instead of sentencing him to prison, they should require him to take a walk on the beach every day with only his swimming shorts and no umbrella, so he'll turn black again.

I never have had any. Edited June 13, 2005 by Dave

I was hoping for at least a couple minutes.

1337 k4th0l1x0r Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 Remember, it just means that he was not found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. The trial has no impact on whether or not he molested this kid, and definitely doesn't reflect on whether or not he molested any kid. It's a trial and trials are often not about what really happened but attacking the accusers and breaking the prosecution's case. I'm sure we'll find out more about what happened in the trial and all the legal experts will talk about how the prosecution fumbled the case. While Jackson has done nothing to convince me he's innocent, perhaps if I was on that jury I would find out many more facts about what was really going on.
