azaelia Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 Today is a bad day. I can't focus and I feel disoriented. I can't feel my toes! I DON'T HAVE ANY TOES! I need a hug....
p-hawk Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 It's good to know I'm not the only one having an incredibly craptacular day.
Didacus Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 Why don't cafeteria-catholics admit they are simply protestants in catholic clothing?
dspen2005 Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005
that's one less dish to handwash (no dishwasher here).
isn't that laziness???? that does not qualify as efficiency since it in no way contributes to making a PB&J sandwich faster, nor better....
cmotherofpirl Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 My zombies and skeletons have not arrived yet!!! My jail and electric chair haven't even been started to be renovated yet!!!GRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I am supposed to open in two weeks
Theoketos Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 The diocese is falling apart. It feels like I can do nothing.

Sirklawd Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 (edited) my turn (in no particular order): -taco bell doesnt deliver -my chances of having a relationship are like 10000 to 1 because I wont have sex till marraige. -people slowing down to 40 on the highway when they see a cop. -people like planned parenthood who claim to help the poor by encouraging not to have kids, even though they still remain poor. -that taco bell thing again.. -anticatholic bashing from non-catholic christians Edited September 26, 2005 by Sirklawd

sweetpea316 Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 I'm sorry Laura... I actually don't have anything to complain about. Just here for moral support.

I'm gunning for overall efficiency, not just PB&J efficiency.

shelly_freak Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 My mom thinks my boyfriend is too young for me and therefor is making him feel uncomfortable and bad about it. I just want to be able to invite him over every once in a while w/out feeling like I'm a terrible person. That or just feeling secure enough to tell her we're dating without worrying she'll kill me. Why can't she be more like his mom? She loves me, maybe I'll just go live his basement. Gah! Now I'm tearing up. Stupid emotions.

(who would ever thought that I would be bringing up philosophical arguments on a topic of such mundane quality).... haha

I'm pleased that you caught that. I knew I was pulling a bait-and-switch on that one, and I was wondering if anyone would catch it. It wasn't an INTENTIONAL ad hoc, though. I didn't explicate that I was thinking of in toto efficiency when I started, which is usually the only type of efficiency I argue for. Of course, all types of efficiency are subordinated to other considerations, i.e. what does God want of me in this situation.
Luthien Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 My little brothers ate all of the Hood Birthday Cake ice cream...
philothea Posted September 27, 2005 Posted September 27, 2005 Kind of a strange combination of giggling and sympathy while reading this thread... My feet hurt so much I can't bear to think of going upstairs, where I really ought to go to do some work. (IKEA + Mitsuwa + running + Home Depot + Costco = sore feet.) PS: My husband makes PB&J sandwiches exactly like p-hawk. Must be a geek thing.
