It's time for all you chick-flick-loving, sappy-song-listening, knight-in-shining-armor fanatics to come out of the woodwork! I know you're out there! :ninja: I know you sit at home watching The Princess Bride and Notting Hill, listening to Michael Buble at full blast; I know you grab the newest Modern Bride and skim through the dresses cause it makes you feel warm and fuzzy... all you walk-in-the-park-at-Christmas-time-while-snow-falls-from-a-starry-sky lovers, you know who you are! Married, single, consecrated, we're all allowed to be lovey-dovey at heart!

I am a hopeful romantic: hear me sing!

When I fall in love
It will be forever
Or I'll never fall in love

In a restless world
Like this is
Love is ended before it's begun
And too many
Moonlight kisses
Seem to cool in the warmth of the sun

When I give my heart
it will be completely
Or I'll never give my heart

And the moment I can feel that you feel that way too
Is when I fall in love with you!

Yay!

Haha I assumed that I was including you guys! That's why I never said 'ladies' or 'women' or anything! ;)

I don't know, it's been a long time since I watched Notting Hill or picked up a copy of Modern Bride...

I go in spurts. Right now I don't know if I'm hopeless or hopefull. I suppose I'm borderline ...

Borderline, feels like I'm going to lose my mind
You just keep on pushing my love over the borderline (borderline)

Hello, my name is Micah. I like rosary walks on the beach and Eucharistic adoration, although I really spend far too little time in prayer...

:P:

I'm a hopeful romantic because I saw God's hand working and I heard His voice calling me to place my whole future on the line for what I believed He wanted me to do. If I was wrong, it would have meant spending the rest of my life miserable and alone...good thing I was right.

:) Romantics rule.

I heard that guys are actually more romantic than women. Not that I'm admitting anything. :ninja:

Heh. Heh. 12 step program. Heh.

Hello, my name is Erin. I like Sony commercials that have 'You Are My Shining Star' in the background and the unborn, and I have an inexplicable attraction to all things fluffy and sparkly.

Aaaaand I'm a hopeful romantic because I know I am a princess of the most holy King, and He wants only the best for His children!

<_<

I was ruthlessly logical and unromantic until writing this stupid novel messed me up.

Now I'm all

Yeah, I'm definitely like the biggest paradox ever. I can go from Allied Assault and tackle football to love songs and mushy stuff in seconds. And while I typically think with my head, I can be waaaay idealistic...

Love is a truly amazing thing...suddenly you find yourself willing to give up anything, wanting to get involved in another person's life, wanting to be a part of their family, almost (almost) hoping they get sick so you can wait on them or scared so you can comfort them (almost :P:).

THAT song brings back memories ... when I was in college (small Christian liberal arts school), every time a girl in our hall got engaged, she'd tell the hall director, and we'd have a "ring down." All 200+ women in the hall would gather in the lobby, and the lucky girl's wing would gather in the middle. We'd all sing "goin' to the chapel" and then we'd clap faster and faster as the girls in the middle passed around a lighted candle with the ring attached. When it came to the girl who got engaged, she'd blow out the candle, and the room would erupt in cheers. Then she'd tell the story of the engagement to all of us, and we'd ooo and awww and sometimes cry. There were some really creative and romantic proposals. :D:

Almost everytime I think I'm in love, it either doesn't work out or someone ends getting hurt, badly. :weep: I guess that means I'm not ready yet, which is fine cause I need to discern my vocation.
