I've been a little silly!

I just got off the phone with my doctor and he pretty much told me that I'm being silly, except in a nice way that made me feel better. He told me everything she told me! I'm using my intellect, and I'm thinking about how good she is for me, and I think I need someone in my life like her. I haven't been feeling healthy, and I didn't want her to know what I'm like, but I don't really know myself. She told me to go to counseling, and that I'm stuck with her. My doctor told me to go to counseling too.

I didn't think it worked this way! I thought I had to sort through all my issues first, and then find love. It found me. :)

A beautiful woman walks into my life and I say, "go away, I'm sick!"

She says, "I'm not going anywhere," and she won't let me be sick. This is a good thing!

I've already resolved to make her a saint. I know that that's not actually within my power to do, but God used me to make my family saints. All it takes is putting up with me! :P: And I started praying for her. That was a mistake I've made in the past. I didn't pray until it ended. Not this time!

We're going to go to Adoration and Mass together. We've both got a long way to go. She is not a phatmass-type Catholic, and I'm hoping that even if the relationship doesn't work out, it is an occasion of conversion for her. This is looking good!

BTW: We're already boyfriend and girlfriend. These past few weeks have been bewildering!

I'm glad you were able to settle this!

Maybe this is just me, but I don't think you can make anyone a saint. You can't make anyone love God. Love is always a free choice; everything else is counterfeit. You can share your faith, take her to Adoration and point her in the direction of Love, but there is nothing you can do to make her love God. I don't know, maybe this is just me... My parents didn't become Catholic. I "converted" my best friend before he died, and his parents are still a bit bitter towards me, but I firmly believe that I did not convert him. I shared my testimony and instructed him to the best of my ability, but his conversion is the result of his choice to cooperate with God's grace. Catholicism is contagious, because it's good news, and we are only mere messengers. I'm sorry if that sounds offensive. I do hope that you can help her become a saint.
