The Broke Daughters of St. Dominic

Brandelyn asked me if I'd like to be an Auxiliary. Since the title is "The Broke Daughters of St. Dominic" I think I'm a perpetual member since I'm a daughter of St.Dominic and we are perpetually broke! :P:

Say Sister, I wouldn't put that in your vocation material!!

I thought it was time to bump this thread up. I don't know if St. Dominic would claim me but I certainly am broke. It was nearly ten years ago that I decided not to enter an order of Anglican sist

I think God is really teaching us how to pray...& to wait!

My sister, I couldn't agree with you more!! Not mention the beautiful experience of the love and intercession of the communityof saints. The Dominicans are no longer people who lived before me but my brothers and sisters. I can't explain what a gift God has blessed me in this. All I can say it is beautiful!

He emailed me back and wants to do an interview, hopefully he will publish a story about the Foundation in our Catholic newspaper. Just wanted you guys to know

Prayers everyone
Shernel

I don't know if that was off topic or not

We have a new member who is not a member of Phatmass but would like to pray for us and she requests that we pray for her .

Kari is her name and she does have some leaning towards the Little Sisters of the Poor so she we will add Blessed Jeanne Jugan. As well, she would like us to St. Patrick and St. Cyril of Jerusalem to our Litany

I will be making a pilgrimage to St. Joseph Oratory in Montreal on September 30.

Unfortunately, a friend of mine who is the only provider for his family has lost his job. His wife has asked me to pray to St. Joseph for help. So I decided to go the Oratory pray for my friends, however, while I am there I will be lighting a candle for the Broke Daughers of St. Dominic. As well, I will ask for a mass to be said for our intentions and I will say a prayer at Blessed Brother Andre tomb for us.

Since I am making this a pilgrimage, I am willing to bring any intentions you may have for St. Joseph. I will light a candle for your intentions in the Vovite Chapel, offer them up at mass and leave them by St. Joseph at the Shrine.

You can post your intentions here or you can PM me. If you want me to offer a Mass at St. Joseph's Oratory, let me know.

Hmmm... with all this praying, you think I have a vocation or something :D:
