johnnydigit
I live out in the sticks, it's Baptist land in these parts. Most of the things you listed are non-existant in this parish or nearby ones, plus the congregations are relatively small. Not making excuses, but if there were more options, I would've taken advantage of them.
YOU KNOW, to my amazement i've recently heard of some amazing hook up stories on catholicmatch.com. as odd as it seems, i was like, wow i guess you *can* meet a really nice person on the internet afterall.. Proud2BCatholic139
I met my boyfriend on Catholicteens.com. He was discerning to become a priest, I wasn't thinking about a relationship...but, we became pen-pals, and God works(ed) His marvelous ways. We are also a perfect match. We have been dating a little over 8 months now.

Proud2BCatholic139
I do believe logn distance relationship works. With the help of God's grace, and patience between both parties, the old saying will fulfill: "Good things come to those who wait." Long before I met my boyfriend, I wanted to move to Florida for a teaching job. Then, as I kept talking to him, I found out very good things. in the end, I got a preschool job in Tampa and I will be moving closer to him! : It is exciting! I like it the way it is ... a place focused on learning about the Catholic faith and hanging out. If love happens along the way, so be it, but I wouldn't want this to become a singles site. Ick.
