I don't know that I would go that far, since I would want to believe in Christ, but like her I can't imagine what Christianity would be like without the Catholic Church. If I had to choose something to be other than Catholic it would be Orthodox. They have the Sacraments and everything. But I would feel weird not being in full union with the Pope and would dearly miss the bulk of my favorite Saints and devotions which are particular to the West. You don't have to get all upset about it. I've done a lot worse than that. Anyway, you don't have to worry, I'm not going the non-denominational route.
