[/quote] wonderful that you are sensitive to theses things! hmmm, i never saw it that way.at least i never would have put it if it was offense to Our Lord..just thought it made light of what can be a 'monastic monotony',. since this is a Brother's Pic thread(and the local Abbey organist thought it humorous).. if one isnt moment by moment fixed on Jesus!. i automatically thought he was sending a message/prayer?to God.since it is in such big letters......? plus is , Gods [u]Name[/u]?..God?...anyways 'lioness' i think i know what you mean,,,\ if the cartoon were in French that would be easier for me, because if it said... '[u]Mon [/u]Dieu!..i am bored'...., then it would be 'in vain', but if it just said 'Dieu'..then a statement.,....yet since in English it has no comma or exclamation mark after 'God' then i leave it up to the beholder.. as you see the BRother is about to get in trouble anyways:) QUE DIEU TE BENISSE!
