Nihil Obstat
Interesting things are happening in my life lately. I'll be able to tell all you wonderful people about it in about a week. I can't wait. 18 to go.
Nihil Obstat
I've noticed that it's always old ladies who have crucifixes or rosaries hanging off their rear view mirrors. When I get a car, I would totally do it, except I've heard that it's a slight safety issue in terms of sorta throwing off your vision. Nihil Obstat
I think that I'll have to load up someday on Catholic bumper stickers. Especially Vatican flags and the Papal Coat of Arms. This excites me with anticipation. Hopefully nobody rear ends me out of spite. 16 to go.
Nihil Obstat
I'm excited to get a car. Someday. I realized a few days ago that I'll most likely move out long before I get a car. With roommates, of course. Cars are hella expensive. [sad panda]

Nihil Obstat
This is sort of like a Lightning Blog, which I plan on abandoning at the end of the evening. Verbal diarrhea. Online narcissism. Probably nobody reads this anyway. Does it still make me an egomaniac? If a tree falls in the forest, and nobody is around to hear it, does it still make a sound? According to Catholics, I suppose it does.

Drinking age in Alberta is 18. My friends and I will go to this really cool traditional Irish pub that my family's friends from church own. I'm so excited. Nihil Obstat
I wish the Vatican flag was the same size as every other flag. Is there any real reason it isn't? It looks so small and puny beside other national flags. Actually, I wish it was bigger than all the rest. By rights, it deserves to be.

Nihil Obstat
My egomania has limits, apparently. I'm running out of stream of consciousness stuff to talk about. I'm reading a book by Ann Coulter. I think she's funny. It would be even better if I were American and remembered Clinton's administration and Bush's first term better. She's a really smart, funny woman. I like to joke, she's like me if I were angrier, smarter, funnier, and a woman. She says stuff that's often completely over the top to get a reaction, but it's also obvious that she's not a nutcase either. She's very very smart. I wouldn't want to get into a serious debate with her, ever. Or a not so serious one, for that matter. I'd get lambasted.

Nihil Obstat
Madame Vengier reminds me of Ann Coulter... if MV made more jokes. I don't mean that negatively either. I'm sure a lot of America would take that as at best a backhanded compliment, but I disagree. When I picture MV as I read her posts (because that's what I do when I read posts, I have a mental image of a person actually saying it out loud) I see an Ann Coulter type woman. Or maybe Brittney Spears. That's because of her avatars though.
