luciana
I carry a pretty Fatima one in my purse. when I'm in the car I've prayed w/out, obviosly When I go to Eucharistic adoration I usually just pray w/out it using my fingers to not make the effort of digging it out of my overstuffed purse! I have one on my nightstand, too. I should pray it more often
XIX
I carry one sometimes, but not always. He's right though, I should. I should get back to putting one under my pillow when I sleep, too.
Theologian in Training
There is a story, though I cannot verify its validity, that relates how someone close the Pope, perhaps his secretary, would frequently see the Pope holding a rosary in his hand, but not always praying it. The person close to the Pope noticed this and really thought nothing of it, however, one day he decided to ask the Holy Father why he merely held the rosary without praying it, to which the Holy Father responded, "holding the rosary is like holding Mary's hand." Fr. Stefano Manelli, author of Devotion to Or Lady, and founder of The Fraciscan Friars of the Immaculate relates, "The Rosary is the precious chain that links us to Mary." Further on he states, "The Rosary is love's bond, it is love's welcome, it is love's respite, in which we tell Our Lady many tmes over, 'I love you, I love you, I love you.' To clasp our beads is like clasping Our Lady's hand." I carry my Rosary always, and if I realize, for whatever reason, that I have forgotten them, I return to get them. I don't carry them because I am prone to superstition of believing that if I don't carry them, I won't have Mary with me. I carry them because it is good to hold Mary's hand sometimes, and to be reminded that I am a mere child of a great Mother, who holds me close to Herself, where I can hear Her heart beat next to mine. Iacobus
I should care one with me but pack light has been too drilled into me. I look and see what can I leave at home and the Rosary (during day trips) is on of the things. I have my fingers or a sheet a paper to do it on. But that is just me. Not saying that it is good or right.
Fiat_Voluntas_Tua
Why would you go somewhere without your weapon... I often am holding it, because it is illegal to conceal such a powerful weapon. You never know when someone will ask you if the can have a rosary, and i always want to be able to give one away. (this has happened about 5 times.) Spread the Love of Mary our Mother by not saying the rosary but by praying it. Pax et Agape per Maria, Andy

stargirl3:16
I tend to lose things, so my rosary is safe at home. But I wear my rosary ring all the time, so if the rosary is like a sword, then a rosary ring is like a dagger, I suppose. is your rosary blessed by the Pope? Mine is! thicke
I've always got mine in my pocket. It actually surprises me to see who doesn't carry one all the time, especially at my Knights of Columbus meetings.
