That's a really good point. She did need them shortened, so maybe that's why. They must have drug on the ground. At least I was able to sew last summer. This summer my sewing machine (along with 95% of all my other possessions) is being held hostage. It's locked up in a cargo container in our parking space that we aren't allowed access to until the repairs to our condo are finished.
