kujo Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012
Taken was awwwwwwwweeeeeeeeesome.
Did you see the one last year called Unknown? He plays a security analyst who wakes up without an identity. Didn't catch it in theaters, but I heard it was almost as good as Taken. The Grey was better than Taken, btw.

Sarah147 Posted January 29, 2012 Author Posted January 29, 2012
Groundhog Day
Basilisa Marie Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 I just saw "Arranged" on Netflix. It's a little older (90s maybe?) but is COMPLETELY excellent. It's about an Orthodox Jewish young woman meeting a Muslim young woman at the school they both teach at, and their friendship developing over their shared experiences of having family/friends arrange their potential future spouses. There's also an absolutely fabulous line where one woman stands up for her religious freedom to her principal, who although well-meaning, is very much a product of the super-liberal kind of feminist movement.
Sarah147 Posted January 30, 2012 Author Posted January 30, 2012 Was "Unknown" the one with Liam Neeson? If so, it's quite an interesting movie!
Not A Mallard Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Horton Hears a Who There needs to be more movies like this: fantastically entertaining and family-friendly with good messages.
InPersonaChriste Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012
You got your facts wrong
which one did you watch? BBC or R.D. JR version?
arfink Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Jumanji= horribleInstead you should be watching Wrath of Kahn, which is irresistibly classic.
InPersonaChriste Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Padre Pio Probably one of the better religious movies out there..
InPersonaChriste Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Jumanji is good.. I have never watched or heard of the Wrath of Khan
nleyetn Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Jumanji fans should check out Zathura. Same basic type of movie but I thought it was much better.
Tony Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Freedom Downtime. A documentary about Kevin Mitnick, an infamous computer hacker.
InPersonaChriste Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012
Jumanji fans should check out Zathura. Maybe I like jungles better then space though...
