das8949 Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 You actually enter tomorrow? You do not have to go back to work over the weekend - that is great I am sure you are excited. I have a silly question for you - While you have been in the novitiate and having access to the world did you bring in any "favorite treats" for your classmates? That would have been hard to resist for me not to offer gum and candy. Good Luck to you! I assume your Internet access will be terminated tomorrow? Make Joyful Music Unto the Lord!
LaPetiteSoeur Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Yay TB!!!! I'll miss you, but this is so exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Polish sisters are so razzle dazzle! Although, I may be biased since the two orders who taught me are Polish!
Guest Polish Catholic Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 And one more blog: Male religious habits - http://www.zakonnicy.blogspot.com/
MessorCarus Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 oh TB, I'm so excited for you, may our Lady and our Lord keep you and bless you always.
Mary's Margaret Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 What a beautiful picture! I had a peek at their website and they look to be a radiant community.
HopefulBride Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011
Ok, I found one This is the Sister Servants of the Eternal Word. I'm a novice in this pic. Front row, kneeling, I'm the second one from the left (in the white veil). And prayers for TB - we are all so happy for you!!!
Such Such a beautiful community (btw, I just found out that Mother Long for the SSEWs is the sister of the Mother Long from the DSMMEs. I thought it was just coincidental that they had the same last name)
she_who_is_not Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Aren't they twins? Or did I just make that up?
HopefulBride Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011
Nope, they're definitely Sisters! A family of Saints An incredible, beautiful community. Any young woman discerning an active/contemplative community should definitely check them out!
Is there any relation to the current prioress of the NDs? For some reason they favor each other in their looks.
