Aya Sophia Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Date for returning to Carmel is set: Nov 14, Feast of All Carmelite Saints. Hope to be able to get a much needed spiritual shot in the arm by going on retreat before entering (would love to go back to the Visitation in Mobile!) Have to see if I can get my act together in time to allow for this. Suddenly, I am at a loss for emoticons . . . don't know which to use - I'll just use my favorite: Gosh, I'm gonna miss this goofy little troll girl - I know, you thought it was a guy - so did I . . . (Oh, there ... just used another! Good sign! Haven't lost my phluency!)
Nunsense Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 What a wonderful day to enter! Congratulations and prayers for you.

Nunsense Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Say hi to all the sisters for me, especially Sr Pauline and Sr Rosaria and my old novice mistress, Sr Cecilia. And of course, my best to Mother Prioress as well. And prayers for your perseverence.

Aya Sophia Posted October 16, 2011 Author Posted October 16, 2011 Thanks all . . . now begins a few weeks of witlessly dashing to and fro ... (thought I had little to do! hah!)
Congrats!! Which Carmel, may I ask?
It is Sheffield Carmel, well known to nunsense!
Say hi to all the sisters for me, especially Sr Pauline and Sr Rosaria and my old novice mistress, Sr Cecilia.
Will do - and thanks esp for prayers for perseverence - it is not easy and I am wimp so all any prayers for this are appreciated!

FutureSister2009 Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Well for one thing, I did not know that November 14th was the Feast of All Carmelite Saints so you learn something new everyday. And I try to hide my jealousy but GRRRRR I'm....so...happy for you.
