Dunno if this is related to Newt's win or not, the dead people could have voted for anyone, but... 953 dead people voted in South Carolina's Primary.

They probably meant to vote in Chicago but took a wrong turn somewhere in St. Louis....

RR used Newt as a political tool, just as all politicians and bureaucrats use each other, civilians, circumstances, and practically any and all opportunities to further their agendas wether altruistic or selfish. It's a basic trait of those who seek office because "they have ideas that can help/improve/better society".
Edit to note I was replying to comment about newts legitimacy as a conservative since he worked "with" Regean.

What's sad, is that so many of these posts would be 100 times as effective if the poster would delete one nasty, unnecessary and irrelevant comment from them. Charity, people. It's not a breach of charity to criticize another person's opinion. It is a breach of charity to throw in a personal attack or an out-of-left-field swipe into your posts.

Ummmmmm. Earth to FP, Dr. Ron Paul and arm chair strategists everywhere: the United States has this thing called strategic threat assessment.

Is that what they call it, now? I like "imperialism" better.

I doubt 953 dead people count for much, considering Newt Gingrich got 243,153 votes.

Very true!

Look, attack his positions all you want, but do not continue to criticize and mock his features. If you were running for president, would you be offended to find that everyone on the internet was making fun of your head? Don't make cheap shots at people. Explain your positions charitably. This indeed can be done without cheap shots.
