the171 Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Have you thought about doing a bridal shower where everyone brings a gift from your entrance registry? A lot of girls have done this and it really helps. It's also a nice way to celebrate with family and friends.
FiatVoluntasTua Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 @the171: It would be a wonderful way for friends and family to support the entrant - with small gifts or with their presence at a gathering. I have heard of an "engagement party" for an aspiring nun, but I have never heard of a "bridal shower." Great idea!
OnlySunshine Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012
Question. I am supposed to get sandals that are Birkenstock or Birkenstock-like. Any suggestions? The Birkies that I see are waaaaay out of my league. So far I'm doing well with my $250 limit. Getting the Birkies would blow them out of the water though (even if they were on sale)
I hate paying a bunch of money for shoes. Some manufacturers act like they are gold or something. I found a few links for you to look at. Lisa Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 (edited) 1. Have you bought thermals yet? Sorry if you have, I couldn't remember. Walmart had a $2 sale today! 2. It's only wool-blend, but this coat is seriously discounted: http://www.meijer.co...0&cmpid=goobase P.S., if you like it, PM me... It was really bothering me that you couldn't find a pair of sandals for a good price. That part of me just wouldn't give up.
