To say Mexican/Spanish is really narrowing it down to only 2 nationalities...people from Mexico and people from Spain. I'm neither...but one would say that I'm "Spanish". I speak Spanish, my ancestors were Spanish, but I myself am not Spanish. Buy just saying Mexican/Spanish - you're excluding all of the nations in Central America, South America and a good part of the Caribbean. Just my 2 cents.
