homeschoolmom Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ehl2Q35uSs This show always confused me. Is it a spin-off of the TV show MASH? Pernell Roberts looks and acts nothing like the character portrayed by Wayne Rogers. Is it a spin-off of the movie MASH? Again, Roberts is nothing like the character portrayed by Elliot Gould. If it's neither of these, then why is the character's name Trapper John? The MASH connection really has nothing to do with this show. So confusing. Even as a kid I thought it was confusing. (Though I had yet to see the movie MASH, I knew there was one.)
homeschoolmom Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNHuI0Pw0m8 My mom didn't let me watch Love American Style (it was after my bedtime, I think). And when I was finally able to watch it in reruns I learned it was extremely dumb. Later, I learned it was a dumping ground for unused pilot episodes-- like this one for Happy Days.

(Though I had yet to see the movie MASH, I knew there was one.) Just like the book, The Lost World - Jurassic Park, is a sequel to the movie Jurassic Park, not a sequel to the book Jurassic Park. Jurassic Park book and movie have very different stories. In the book, the boy and girl characters were switched. The boy was the older of the two and the geek whiz-kid and the girl whined and cried a lot.
Papist Posted April 17, 2013 Author Posted April 17, 2013 Here that machine that old people remember. I never seen one until now.
