They do have an idea of what is going on in the outside world. For instance, Carthusian Monks are given newspapers and such, and are allowed to go out and vote during presidential elections. KnightofChrist Posted April 20, 2013 Share Posted April 20, 2013 He is guilty (presumably) of grave capital crimes and has demonstrated that he is a grave danger to society. I don't wish him dead but if capital punishment is a result for his crimes so be it.
