homeschoolmom
PSPX, thanks for your reply. I agree that our society has traded people (childen especially) for toys... But I'm uncertain still about what you think should have been done. ie, how far in "progress" was good and at what point did it become bad? ex. was it good to allow girls to go to school? college? was it good to allow single women the ability to earn a living? what about married women? during WWII? Should women have any property rights?
theculturewarrior
Sometimes I feel like women hate me. Could this be a trickle down effect?
AngelofJesus
It's funny how I like to think men as inferior to women. They say behind every good man is a greater woman. Be it a wife or a mother. They are the only ones that I think that can drive a man up the wall. I ah... better stay out of this thread because I want to be neutral like my comments. Moosey
The only thing I hate about being a woman is my period...and I even then I still appreciate it because it enables me to get pregnant. And I want to have a baby darnit (not now of course, but someday) So in a way, I'm happy being a woman. Thank you God for making me a woman because I can take part in creating life! WOOHOO!! :newlyweds: okay Im good
Spiritual_Arsonist
Guys don't have to deal with even half the carp we do. They don't get periods, they don't get pregnant, they get paid more, they are almost always stronger, they don't have menapause, they get to be priests. And for a while the daft evened things out...girls didn't get drafted. But now I am almost sure that if there ever was a draft we would be included. I don't get it. Women are in general more spiritual than men and tend to have a stronger belief in God. And yet he throws all this carp on us. It ain't equal....it never will be, I don't even feel like I have the same human dignity as a guy.
God does not hate women. There are differences between these two sexes and there is nothing wrong with saying that. People perceive problems due to their sex because they may not understand what to do with these things and feelings. Its about WHO we are, not what happens to us (like the menopause and more emotionality) Be 100% woman.

We did not need the poverty that is the result of easy divorce laws, we did not need forced into minimun wage jobs with no health care when our husbands abandon us after putting them thru grad school. cmotherofpirl
I have seen both sides of it. I have been on the abandoned side, but I have friends who are staying in dead marriages as well. Both are bad, but thwere seems there is no good way either.
