Anna Posted October 30, 2003 Share Posted October 30, 2003 I believe you personally gain the indulgence; however, since we have an unknown amount of time left on this earth, and potentially many more opportunities to gain grace through the Sacraments and to gain more indulgences, I believe you can offer your indulgence to God on behalf of the departed....but I'm not positive!!!!! The psychic was telling my aunt some stuff and when she got to my mother she said, "No one is coming through, you take death very well." and she proceded to go to the next person.
