But I'm starting not to like country too much
I'm extremely picky when it comes to country.

Heard of Gram Parsons?

Very much a musical genius. I'd suggest reading a short bio; I couldn't do him justice.

DemonSlayer

I've came across a Catholic mid-paced solo thrash metal band called Last Rites, they released a free EP called Extreme Unction, but the only song that I think isn't too bad is the first track, while the other two songs are a lot slower and the vocals don't work. There is also a song titled 'St. Patrick's Day Jam', which is alright. I think the guy needs to stick just using the death metal or harsher vocals and faster songs. The songs are also on their Myspace.

There is also another Catholic metal band called Divine Blood, who are apparently influenced by progressive metal and black metal.

I concur. St Patrick's day riffs are good, my fave track on their myspace.

yur postin in the wrong thread Nihil! :)

extreme unction is also the name of a crazy song by Necrophagist.

well, i got my concert with Kreator, Exodus and Warbringer in ten days! then Testament with Unearth next month. WOOOT
i have really been liking Exodus's second newest album, the Atrocity Exhibition, some seriously good modern heavy thrashing going on there!
