I say sigs because it was soooooooooooooooooooooo annoying when people had super long signatures that they could write out.

This way they can say what they need. It looks nice, and I am not having to skip over 1/2 page of quotes and stuff at the end of a post.

Just get dUSt to cut down the characters allowed.

not necessarily on ultimate guitar there is only 250 carachters, not very much for a quote or two, but people frequently use huge lettering and spaces to get there sigs a mile and a half long. very annoying. maybe unlimited characters but a space limit?

also how about both avatars and pic sigs?

We've had that before, and ... it looks a bit too much. Not only that but it takes up a lot of space.

I'm not sure space can be reduced. Why not just get rid of signatures altogether and just have avatars. :)

there's no formatting the text when putting it in for the sig. So sizes/color were never a problem.

[size=1]The only thing I dont like about the sigs is their location.

I dont like it how it is IN our posts.
Technically yea, thats where the sig goes, but I just dont think a huge pictures right there looks nice.

I like it much better when it was right under our name!

I like it best the way it is now. Often if I'm looking through a thread I recognize the author of a post by their sig picture. They are just more fun, I think.

yes! it would be nice to have both, if that's at all possible.

Is it possible to give the user the choice of one or the other but not both?
