in fairness to budge's position: the idea would be that there are no spacecrafts, but that demons have been messing with these people and that these people think it was aliens.

it makes sense: most modern secularists would sooner explain some inexplicable encounter with something more powerful than themselves with aliens than they would with spiritual things... just like how modern secularists try to go back to miracles in the bible and say they were really aliens; so too might a Christian look at modern day inexplicable events and say they had a spiritual cause.

Bad Art=Ones own opinion!.Budge do you realize that I spend my whole day worshiping Graven Images?..Explain what you consider worshiping graven images..

I guess the 2.00 pictures of Jesus where his eyes blink when you move is real art....

:maddest:

Let's get back on the subject.

There are two sides in this argument:

1. Art has inherent meaning and resemblence equals descent.

and

2. Sanity.

Seriously, What is the name of the brass/gold/whatever ball? What does it represent.

I think it looks interesting.

That giant one is kinda creepy though. :)

Here the globe is live..It's obviously a modern sculpture of earth and nothing like the eye of Horus or whatever

Its no wonder the Pope has his back to that thing, its scary.

The ball looks like a cabbage.

Some artists just have a range of subjest, take, for example Adolphe-William Bouguereau, who painted this

A wonderful picture of Christ, and this

From Greek myths. They just have a range.
