Very similar . . . I expected 2 to be far inferior, but it wasn't bad. If you go in with low expectations, you'll be pleasantly surprised. I couldn't say about high expectations, though.

It could certianly be analyzed in a Catholic moral teaching point of view, I think it would come out pretty well.

btw my confessor knew a man who was a mechanic in the vatican at the time of Fr. O'Flaherty and said that the movie was not exaggerated but TONED DOWN. He did even crazier things than what the movie shows.... my all time favorate.
