[/quote] I am actually keeping the order a secret right now. When I revealed the other orders I was discerning with, it kind of ruined the process for me because everyone knew. It is a missionary order that originated in Europe. If God desires that I enter there and I am accepted, I will post which order before I am about to enter. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with revealing your other orders..I am nervous that might happen with me because I have discerned through so many. Have you sent your order an application? [/quote] I haven't come to the application stage yet. I'm still waiting for some information that my pastor promised he'd give me but he has been incredibly busy and we haven't been able to meet yet. The order I am discerning with is the one he is bringing to our parish and he also introduced me to the Provincial Superior. I've spoken to her and 3 other Sisters of the order and I feel like this could be the one since everything has worked out without me putting much effort into it. I have mainly allowed the Holy Spirit to work. I met the Superior at a time when I felt like discernment was over for me because I was not having much success and then, when she told me that she would be willing to allow me to try the life even though I have depression, I just knew that the Holy Spirit had brought me to that point to show me that He wasn't done with me yet. I still have to pass the psychological evaluation and I would like to visit their convent in the US, but I am trusting that the Lord will make it happen when He feels I am ready. Things have settled down because I'm spending so much time in Bible Study, watching religious videos (like the "Gospel of John"), and doing some spiritual reading. Right now, I'm reading "Come, Follow Me" by Fr. Stefano Manelli of the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate. He started the women's order of the Franciscan Sisters.
