Nihil Obstat Posted February 14, 2014 Author Share Posted February 14, 2014 1 1/2 - 2 years ago, I was required to withdraw from the business faculty. One of the required courses is Finance 317. You need a minimum mark of C-, and you are only allowed to repeat it once. I missed the C- by about 3%, twice. So I was told to withdraw for at least twelve months, then reapply. I did the reapplication just before Christmas, but the whole thing has been hanging over my head for nearly two years now. I have been studying philosophy since then, and I am about a semester away from finishing that degree, but what does one do with a philosophy degree, right? I wish I had started on the Chinese earlier, because I am having way more fun doing that. Enough that I might take just a little extra time to continue working on it. But, things feel like they are getting back on track. :) Now I just need to get a haircut and start applying for new jobs, because my current job situation is starting to look a bit uncertain. I would really like to work at a menswear store, as in a place that does suits and formal wear. I think I have a good shot at a callback from at least one.
