Conte was wrong again about predicting the beginning of the first part of the tribulation. That doesnt affect me. I was a little disappointed for about a day.
So, how many times will he have to be proven wrong before you stop taking him seriously?
I still think I know who the GCM is. There are enough hints in my posts for an inquisitive person to figure out who he is without me explicitly naming him.
Does he post on Phatmass by any chance?

I'm not getting the hints. Why not just tell who you think he is?

Ive been watching your guys discussions for a while now and thought i would join this topic in particular because it intrests me .
From all the things i have seen about the GCM is that he will come from an ancient family of europe..yet he wont be someone that is in the public eye of any royal family for if he is to obvious he would be killed outright . The GCM will be right under the noses of his family and freinds and even they will not know what awaits him..but in his heart and soul will burn the plan of his destiny. look to the east to find the king of the west.

when you say "look to the east to find the king of the west" that can mean a variety of different things...it might make sense to say that austria (which is in central europe and east of western europe) is in the east. how far east should we be looking?

I take the truth that I know that the tribulation is about to unfold seriously, independent of his writings based on some of my own understandings of Scripture, private revelation, and the current state of affairs in the Church and in the world. God has been planning this work of the tribulation for a long time and many things have fallen into place, if Conte is off by a year or two or three in predicting the exact beginning of the End Times it does not mean that all of his insights are null and void.

I still think the basic insights and foundations of his predictions are true. He has predictions which range over the next several centuries. Like I've said before he will not be right about everything. What I think will happen is that God has some plans that no one could possibly predict perfectly since Sacred Scripture is very deep and subtle. I can literally spend years just refining this one subject of the GCM, continually returning to Scripture day after day, etc. always learning more and reforming my own little pale reflection of how things will truly turn out. The Deeds of God during the tribulation will be beyond all expression. They will be sublime and astonishing.

As far as the GCM, like I said one can figure out with a little thinking. I hinted several times in my posts who his great grandfather is as well as other hints.

the vocation of the GCM will unfold as the Tribulation unfolds. God's providence protects him. No one is going to kill him, I'm not sure how many people even take these prophecies seriously. He will be very humble and start with almost no support. I'm not sure how his early life unfolds and how his sudden rise to prominence will occur. The Church and the world will be very different ten and twenty years into the Tribulation. There will a lot of changes and severe sufferings all over.

Here is a list of signs that the Tribulation is about to fall upon us in the near future:

* the various true apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary over the past two centuries with messages of eschatological predictions such as La Salette, Fatima, Our Lady of America (given to Sister Mary Ephrem, and many more true apparitions all over the world.

* the indications that Fr. Sudac is the Angelic Shepherd (the sign of the cross on his forehead) predicted by the mystic Werdin O'rante and in Sacred Scripture

* the indications that the great monarch has been born in 1997, in accord with Conte's interpretation of Daniel's 70 weeks of years.

* St. Malachy's prophecies of the Popes, with only one more Pope on the list and the age of the current Pope, indicating that the reign of 'Peter the Roman' is near.

* Vatican II taught the Church to open up the the seperated brethren. There was a significant reunification of the Anglicans over the past year. It is well known through verses of Sacred Scripture and private revelation that during the first part of the Tribulation the Protestant and Orthodox Churches will reunite with the Roman Catholic Church. The Anglicans have foreshadowed and begun this movement as I think Our Lady of La Salette predicted:

‘A protestant nation from the north will convert to the faith and, by means of this nation, the other nations will return to the faith.’

* a substantial portion of Catholics have given up practice of the Faith and fallen into numerous heresies, schisms, etc. Loss of faith in the Eucharist, rejection of the eternal moral law, sexual ethics, inerrancy and infallibility of Sacred Scripture, etc.

* the horrifying number of appalling abortions committed over the past few decades. The supposed legislation all over the world upholding and protecting these horrific acts (though these are not true laws at all).

* a significant amount of false private revelations as well as false teachers spreading errors throughout the world, some who call themselves Catholics.

* the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 is interpreted by more than a few commentators as an eschatoligical event. From the prophecy of Daniel:

{9:25} Therefore, know and take heed: from the going forth of the word to build up Jerusalem again, until the Christ leader, there will be seven weeks of years, and sixty-two weeks of years; and the wide path will be built again, and the walls, in a time of anguish.

* the well known potential development of nuclear weapons by Iran, pointing to WWIII.

* the absurd complexity in the world indicating that the world has moved far away from God who is Simplicity.

* the overwhelming moral evil and moral decline/apathy which is causing of all other physical evils, sufferings, harms, disorders, etc. for example the well known addiction of the use of pornography by millions to assist with their committal of sexual sins.

* the pedophilia committed by priests and religious, probably one of the most evil sins possible, next to abortion.

* the shameless recent wave of attacks against Pope Benedict.

and there are more points.

hello again
what i mean by ''look to the east to find the king of the west'' is my relatives from many years past worked in the gardens of a bohemian royal family before the perverbial croutons hit the fan and that royal family fled. The story was that some fled to the uk , some to canada , australia and new zealand. we were told the true line to that royal family fled to the pacific either to australia or new zealand . Just after world war 2 my family emigrated out from the uk to nz (had enough of the war)..who origanlly themselves came from bohemia .(which correct me if im wrong i think is the czech republic now). My grandfather said that new zealand or australia would be the perfect place for any royal family wanting to melt away into nothingness. Im just saying i wouldnt count these countrys out . A person standing next to you could be part of that family.

also kafka i didnt say the GCM would be killed but if he knows his importance he aint going to stick his head out in public to early to see if anyone takes a puck shot. He will be wise and smart and plan with common sense. I have a question for all of you on this forum..if you were the GCM could you mentally take it?

my understanding based on Sacred Scripture and private revelation is that he will be exiled in his youth due to WWIII to the Americas most probably the United States or perhaps Canada, however he will end up in the U.S. eventually since that is where I think the Angelic Shepherd will reside in Washington D.C. as well as the Holy See in exile as I have speculated in previous posts. It is clear he will be a military leader or commander among other things so perhaps he will study at a military academy in the U.S.

Not all of the European exiles (royal or not royal) will want to melt away into nothingness. The Living God is a God who is active, who does glorious Deeds in history, human beings are supposed to take up their Cross and imitate him, not melt away into nothingness.

I dont put myself in his place or think what might be going on in his mind when he discovers his vocation. I focus on what I can learn from Sacred Scripture and private revelation and the current state of affairs in the Church and in the world.

Last night I noticed Psalm 82, of Asaph, implicitly expresses the future period of time centuries after the Era of Peace and the reign of the GCM, where the world will be divided into only ten kingdoms with ten kings ruling over each. This is predicted in various places in Sacred Scripture as well as private revelation:

Our Lady of La Salette:

‘The earth will be struck all kinds of plagues; there will be wars until the last war, which will then be made by the ten kings of the antichrist, which kings will have all one same design and will be the only ones who will rule the world.'

The Prophecy of Daniel:

{7:7} After this, I watched in the vision of the night, and behold, a fourth beast, terrible yet wondrous, and exceedingly strong; it had great iron teeth, eating yet crushing, and trampling down the remainder with his feet, but it was unlike the other beasts, which I had seen before it, and it had ten horns.

{7:23} And thus he said, “The fourth beast will be the fourth kingdom on earth, which will be greater than all the kingdoms, and will devour the whole earth, and will trample and crush it.
{7:24} Moreover, the ten horns of the same kingdom will be ten kings, and another will rise up after them, and he will be mightier than the ones before him, and he will bring down three kings.

Revelation:
{12:3} And another sign was seen in heaven. And behold, a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven diadems.

{13:1} And I saw a beast ascending from the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon its horns were ten diadems, and upon its heads were names of blasphemy.

These ten kings and their kingdoms will become extremely evil, more evil than the current state of the world. Antichrist will rise and take power in one of the ten kingdoms and eventually take all ten in a relatively short amount of time. Four of the ten kingdoms are regions where the great Catholic monarch once ruled. After his death his kingdom is divided into four lesser kingdoms as I have explained in a few previous posts.

In Psalm 82, I think the Holy Spirit is using the ten neighboring tribes of Israel to implicitly express these ten future kingdoms:

{82:2} O God, who will ever be like you? Do not be silent, and do not be unmoved, O God.
{82:3} For behold, your enemies have sounded off, and those who hate you have carried out a head.
{82:4} They have acted with malice in counsel over your people, and they have plotted against your holy ones.
{82:5} They have said, “Come, let us scatter them from the nations and not allow the name of Israel to be remembered any longer.”
{82:6} For they plotted unanimously. Joined together against you, they ordained a covenant:
{82:7} the tabernacle of Edomites and Ishmaelites, and Moab and the Hagarites,
{82:8} and Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek, the foreigners among the inhabitants of Tyre.
{82:9} For even Assur comes with them. They have become the helpers of the sons of Lot.

Notice last Assur is mentioned. Assur is the supreme god of the Assyrians, yet in Scripture this pagan god is used as a symbolic name for Antichrist, since he will be born in the area of modern day Syria, and will become powerful and worshiped as if a god. Modern day Syria will be a part of one of the ten kingdoms of the world in that future time. This kingdom is expressed in Sacred Scripture as the South. It is one of the former regions which will once have been ruled by the GCM. I think it will be roughly composed modern day Egypt, Israel and Syria.

In Syria, "the antichrist will be born of a Hebrew religious, of a false Virgin who will have communication with the old serpent, the master of impurity; his father will be Bishop;" (Our Lady of La Salette) though his rise to power will occur in the North kingdom which, I learned from Conte and which I can reasonably conclude in my own mind, is modern day Europe, also a former region of the GCM. In the North European kingdom Antichrist wins his first battles and takes that kingdom, consolodates and then takes the South kingdom and then another third kingdom, by then he will be powerful enough to take the remaining seven kingdoms of the earth, since the military might of the North and South kingdoms will be very great in those times.

"And I saw a beast ascending from the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon its horns were ten diadems, and upon its heads were names of blasphemy."

Here is the remainder of Asaph's Psalm. All the Psalms of Asaph with one or two exceptions express different events and aspects of the Tribulation/End Times.

{82:10} Do to them as you did to Midian and Sisera, just as to Jabin at the torrent of Kishon.
{82:11} They perished at Endor, and they became like the dung of the earth.
{82:12} Set their leaders to be like Oreb and Zeeb, and Zebah and Zalmunna: all their leaders
{82:13} who said, “Let us possess the Sanctuary of God for an inheritance.”
{82:14} My God, set them like a wheel, and like stubble before the face of the wind.
{82:15} Set them like a fire burning up the forest, and like a flame burning up the mountains.
{82:16} So will you pursue them in your tempest, and disturb them in your wrath.
{82:17} Fill their faces with shame, and they will seek your name, O Lord.

~we as Catholic Christians are required by the moral law to pray for our enemies that they might repent and convert.

{82:18} Let them be ashamed and troubled, from age to age, and let them be confounded and perish.
{82:19} And let them know that the Lord is your name. You alone are the Most High in all the earth.

Kafka, I'm sure someone has mentioned this, and I really don't mean to offend, but I really feel I must say something.

Don't you think it's possible to think too much about when the end will come? Don't you think it'd be better to take spiritual fruit from the psalms and from the prophecies of Daniel? To use scripture amend our lives and to avoid sin? To focus on remaining in Divine contemplation? If we haven't yet achieved that contemplation, don't you think it is something we should work toward with all our heart?

To think and worry so much about the future will not bring us any closer to God. He has revealed everything we need in Holy Mother Church!
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat (or drink), or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds in the sky; they do not sow or reap, they gather nothing into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are not you more important than they? 27 Can any of you by worrying add a single moment to your life-span? [sup]17[/sup] 28 Why are you anxious about clothes? Learn from the way the wild flowers grow. They do not work or spin. 29 But I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was clothed like one of them. 30 [sup]18[/sup] If God so clothes the grass of the field, which grows today and is thrown into the oven tomorrow, will he not much more provide for you, O you of little faith? 31 So do not worry and say, 'What are we to eat?' or 'What are we to drink?' or 'What are we to wear?' 32 All these things the pagans seek. Your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom (of God) and his righteousness, [sup]19[/sup] and all these things will be given you besides. 34 Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself. Sufficient for a day is its own evil.

I am not offended, however you are a bit younger than me and as far as I am concered in no position to give me counsel. You dont know what type of life I live, what sort of prayer, self-denial, and works of mercy I practice.

My eschatological studies come relatively easy at this point. I dont spend a whole lot of time in thought about them. Eschatology is a vast field of speculation and a large portion of Sacred Scripture is devoted to eschatology, implying its virtue and importance since Scripture is God's Word and he willed everything contained and expressed in it.

This sort of study is only for those interested. If one is not interested one can focus on other aspects of eschatology such as the resurrection of the body, the general judgment, the New Heaven and the New Earth. These are important meditations since they fill us with hope and strengthen our fortitude to embrace the Cross which is this life.

i think this kind of thinking can be dangerous for some people...but at the same time its really interesting...while possibly not being accurate...it could still be true in ways.
