Aw, TB... I am totally considering getting a small tattoo now. Just plain black ink with "T[size="1"]M[/size]" on my wrist. I'd like that as a sign of my Marian Consecration. Hopefully, the "Totus Tuus" is implied. ;)

What are your thoughts on this? Should I go for it?

Oh, and does anyone know that average healing time for tattoos? :detective:

Go for it, LC!! Seriously. The symbolism, I think, is even magnified by [i]being[/i] a tattoo, you know?

Healing, according to my brother, is about a week or week and a half. Shorter for smaller tattoos. And you don't have to have it bandaged the entire time, just first 24 hours. Small scabs for the first week (don't pick 'em, so I've been told). Then you're all good!

I wanted to get the tattoo a little higher, but the tattoo artist said that area has a harder time of holding the ink. So, yep... that's where it ended up. I'm happy with it. :love:

I got this tattoo 3 days before I got accepted to seminary. I got it for the wrong reasons, but God has turned my ill intent to good. The tattoo is on my left calf.

Lets see if I can add it... yup it works :like: What I did was right click on the pic and select view image info, thats what shows up on the menu on firefox anyway. Then a window pops up and I just copied the url found opposite to where it says location. When you are composing your message you click on the little icon on the top tht says insert image and paste the url in there.

I was a little nervous since it was my first (and only) tattoo, but in all honesty, it wasn't so bad. It felt like a bit what I imagine the tip of a recently blown-out match would feel like pressed against one's skin. Burning, but not unbearable.

However, be assured, I think Mary held my other hand the whole 30 seconds! :sweat:
