Who was it that said "any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic"?

Incoherent rambling isn't welcome on this thread, thanks. Let's stick to the facts.

Smug hippie chick doesn't ramble. You fail to understand her. Probably because you're a crypto-fascist.

This is a serious thread about serious business, sir. You're simply making a fool of yourself.

All right, well as promised here's a small sampling of what I've discovered of the member we call "Curiousing".

Archeologists have come to a general consensus that as early as 1521, Curiousing lived with her family somewhere in the Great Plains area, likely scraping out a meagre living by hunting, gathering, and derivatives trading. It was a hard life, but fulfilling. Yet from a young age, Curiousing was quite curious, and in order to satiate her curiosity, at least as rumour has it, she moved to the big city in search of a better life. The only big city in 1521 was of course Tel Aviv, so there went young curious Curiousing.
Down in Tel Aviv she quickly fell it with a pretty tough crowd, and before too long she was running a quasi-legal video gambling chain. They installed VLTs in bars across the city, charging the establishments a small rental fee, but most of their profits came from the gambling itself. Business was quite lucrative, and within two years they diversified and began opening medium sized casinos across the city.
Well Curiousing had made her fortune by now and went into semi-retirement, but being the curious sort she settled on performing in a nightly cabaret in her main casino. Every night she'd sing, dance, tell jokes, do magic tricks, and generally have the time of her life. Before and after her shows she'd mingle with guests, sit down for a drink or two, and sometimes play a game of blackjack or speed chess.
Her cabaret however, was a huge hit in Tel Aviv, and she became something of a local celebrity. Details are a bit sparse, this being 1521, but we've recovered a couple videos of her performances.

Here's one of Curiousing's more famous magic tricks.

She usually followed the magic act with a song and dance.

As you can tell, dancing was not her strong suit, but nevertheless the audiences night to night just loved it. She'd make more money from a single performance than Jason makes today in an entire year of humanure-ing.[/background]

I'd like to say a bit about Hassan, but the trouble is at this point most of his records remain highly classified, and the Syndicate and I would be needlessly provoking the CIA if I were to release the information right now. So that in mind, all I will say is this:
Have you ever seen Hassan together with Leon Trotsky, Captain Nemo, and Selma Hayek?

Well I'm sure I don't have to say anything more than that. You guys are at least that intelligent.

This thread serves only to exalt the capital accumulation of the bourgeois and depress the wages of the proletariat.

You would say that, Salma. You're lucky the CIA still wants you alive.
