I love romantic endings too! If you want to give silent movies another try, then I highly recommend Sunrise. It's a beautiful silent film. The beginning is dark and bleak, but keep watching and you'll be in for a treat.

Anyone ever seen Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows and The Trouble with Angels?

SO GOOD! And nuns are involved.  Not that ashamed that the nuns in this movie were one of the reasons I almost joined a religious order after high school.

Oh gosh, I forgot about this topic. I've seen a number of old movies since I last posted here. Giant and From Here to Eternity were a couple of notable ones.
