DiscerningSoul Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 I cut my hair right before Thanksgiving, right in the bathroom and much to the surprise of my mom : My long locks that went almost to mid back now hang just above my shoulders, but I like it because there isn't any "rats nest" at the base of my head anymore. Anyway it will grow back and now my mom likes it. does that cheer you up? LOL

I was thinking about doing it, but I went to schedule an appointment to get my hair cut and the stylist said my hair would be really short because they have to cut off ten inches. I decided to wait a bit so that it grows longer before I do that. My question is do they take hair with split ends? If they don't, I might as well get it cut now (keeping it longish).

[/quote] I'm sure they'd appreciate it without the split ends. Exactly why I didn't wait any longer. And really.. try not to wait too long! I waited and waited and mine was so damaged that it got cut really short. Yes, it's still several inches past my shoulders but compared to what it was... it's SHORT.
