be_thou_my_vision Posted June 19, 2007 Author Share Posted June 19, 2007 Everything went fine. I arrived on Sunday evening. I prayed and ate with the sisters, and then played cards for recreation! EARLY Monday morning, Sister Lois and I were off for the 3 1/2 hour car trip to Alma. I met with Sister Marysia, RSM, DO for the evaluation and it took about and hour in all. Then Sister Lois and I hopped back in the car and were back in Mishawaka for a quick dinner, then bedtime! Today, I prayed and had Mass with the sisters, was fitted for the postulant jumper (yeah!), recieved the packing list from the postulant directress, and met with the community accountant to talk about insurance (ugh). Jesus is so good. I only have one more meeting, and that is the final acceptance interview with the Superior, Sister Angela. I believe this will be in about a month. Soul of Christ, sanctify me! On Sunday, my parents and siblings are going up to Mishawaka for the day to see the convent. My mom saw it 4 years ago, but no one else has ever been up. It should be a great day! This is part of the application process, if possible for the family. The family of a candidate is welcome to visit at any time to learn more about the life their daughter and sister is choosing. It just depends on when the Superior has time! It's a very busy time of year! So, within a month, I will know if I am officially accepted! Keep me in your prayers... only 2 1/2 months to go.
