[/quote] I was chatting with a friend about weddings the other day and said, "If I ever get married, I'll blah blah blah." She got this weird look on her face and I said, "What, do you think that is tacky?" She replied, "No, I just assumed you were going to marry Jesus." Cue blushing, flustered, stammering SWIN.
i<3LSOP Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 When you got to a Sisters wake and see that under her hands she is holding her written out vows in beautiful cursive and think... I hope that my cursive will be that neat when I write out mine.............................................
EmilyAnn Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Probably in here before but instead of thinking of names for your kids, you think what your religious name will be. I've seen kindergarteners with better handwriting than me.

Now she passed away at 100 years old and back then they were taught to have good writing skills.... Edited January 13, 2012 by i<3LSOP
Lil'Monster Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Instead of making snow angels in the snow, those who are nun wannabes are probably making snow nuns

And when son appears, and I am red eyed and sniffing, how to explain? It's not the first time he asked me if I prefered that life to the one I have now.
Guest hermanita Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 When "being invited to recreation" is the highlight of your month...no make that year.
LaPetiteSoeur Posted January 29, 2012 Author Posted January 29, 2012 When in contact with a CSJ in order to volunteer with their order, she sends you vocation related stuff too!
TheresaThoma Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 You know exactly how much money you need for the plane ticket for your next visit and you will skimp and save on just about everything to be able to make said visit.
Strictlyinkblot Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 When people ask you to go on holiday or pilgrimage or wedding and all you can think is 'Hmm, will I have already entered?' (bad grammar)
mysisterisalittlesister Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 When an elderly woman who can't stand talking to young people manages to get out, "Are you gonna be a nun?"
TheresaThoma Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 The toe of your right shoe is noticeably more worn than your left (from genuflecting) because of how many times you visit chapels. My friends and I all noticed this same wear pattern and we were joking that we needed shoes with re-enforced right toes!

The right toe is scuffed and pulling way from the sole. Left one is in perfect shape. Edited January 30, 2012 by Lisa
