nleyetn Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011
just watched the remake of TRUE GRIT, it was okay but the John Wayne's version is way better
I just watched that tonight, I really liked it. I have never seen the 1969 though so I can't say how it compares. I thought this one had great performances though.
OnlySunshine Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 Just got done watching: Just Go With It (a little--OK, a lot--of crude humor, but ultimately ends well) How To Train Your Dragon (VERY cute movie!)
LaPetiteSoeur Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit Where Angels Go, Trouble Follows. I was in a Catholic nun movie mood yesterday.
eustace scrubb Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 X-Men: First Class Not quite X2, but not as bad as X-Men 3. Has some cheesy lines at times, but I recommend it.
nleyetn Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 (edited)
X-Men: First Class Not quite X2, but not as bad as X-Men 3. Has some cheesy lines at times, but I recommend it.
Hopefully nothing as bad as: "Do you know what happens to a toad when it's struck by lightning? The same thing that happens to everything else." That was the worst line out of the first three movies. Edited June 15, 2011 by nLEyETn
MeteorShower Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 X-Men: First Class I thought it was brilliant overall, although it was a little rushed in places, and - as someone already said - there were one or two cheesy lines. I only saw the first X-Men film and the Wolverine movie - and I did not like the former - so I'm not sure if I can compare to the other films. However, it is definitely one of my favourite superhero films.
