Summer Reading Competition

Byzantine

Recommended Posts

i read 2 page of a rulebook gotten and print from the web.  No package in the mail yet with the big rulebooks lol.  Hold on what about all the fantasy football magazines I bought and read and memorized this summer?  What about rereading?  How close are we to 100,000?

CCC, with your help, as of last night we were up to 129,234 pages   and heading for 140,000!!!!

As of that point, 534 books documented read by my count.... and we have 26 readers.

AND MORE of EACH as of today!!!!!

I'll add your additional 2 pages next count.

Glad we have inspired you to buy & read -- and MEMORIZE -- written material, CCC!!!! :rotfl:

I believe Byz said magazines over 50 pages count... but you'll have to look over the middle of the thread to find out for sure...

I'll count the pages if you give me the mag title and date, and approx. # ok?

Like this:

Rules Are For Breaking Magazine, May 2006, 53 pages

Rereading is COOOL!

So are audiobooks while working out!

We are a liberal bunch here!!!!   We just want everybody to have fun!!!!!

And we NEED more guy readers!!!!!!!

Deus te Amat

You never know what you're going to find when you open a library book. If you read this, skip the "silly" parts.

Tinker -- Wen Spencer -- 438

The story itself was really good though.

Welcome, CMaria! We'll look forward to getting your books for the count. We need name, author, and page numbers if you want pages counted.

I know that names, authors and pg numbers are needed :) hence the "I'll give specifics soon"

Hey, CarterMia.... the monkeys and llama are rebelling.

You really do need to LIST the books if you want us to count 'em.   That's what we have told everyone.

We'll take a sum total for the number of pages, but we need you to do the list.  (I'll say it -- AnneLine is a MEAN SPITTING LLAMA!!!!)

I'll plan to do the full count update tomorrow to give you (and anyone else) time to get those titles and authors and pages in here.... and then the final list will be after competition ends!!!!!

Wheeee!!!!!

A Great and Terrible Beauty- 403 pgs

I seem to remember really liking that trilogy, but this book is the one that stood out to me most. I may have to re-read the whole thing someday.

It's not too late to document books read between June 8 and September 1 at midnight!!!!!

Just give us the name and author -- and if you want, the number of pages.... we're at 428 books and 133805 pages, with a little over 6000 still to be documented by their readers.....

We have done this with just 28 readers... and we want the rest of you to get in on the end of this if you wish!!!!

Maybe.... is it possible?   Could we could hit 150,000 pages????
