Had an illness in the fam and as I prepare for entrance I am suddenly hit with the realization that I have some family members that I may never see again so I wanted to make the most of the time before entrance. Please pray for my aunt she just had a mastectomy due to cancer. I am praying that the cancer didn't spread too much.
HopefulBride Posted July 30, 2012 Author Posted July 30, 2012 OK so I just realized how sheltered I have been when it comes to my vocation. I've mostly dealt with the reaction of my immediate family and have not had to hear what extended family thought on the matter. Needless to say, it's by God's grace that I've not had to share my vocation until now. I think it would have been a real struggle if I had to discern through such hostily against the church and such opposition to the idea of a religous vocation. Thanks for the prayers Trisha!!

HopefulBride Posted August 5, 2012 Author Posted August 5, 2012 Dropped off my nephew yesterday and my vacation officially ended at about 2:30. Didn't get any plantain chips, just a bill from home depot for about $6,000.00 for my kitchen repair. In other news, I sent out a letter on Friday and I am waiting to hear back. Can't wait to update Mother and possibly get details of entrance.
