It was a Christmas present from my sister - it's about a Presbyterian minister who doesn't believe in God. It looks to be a very interesting read, so I'm quite excited! There are parts of the Stephen White books that, uh, I'm skimming over pretty lightly. Such is the way for many a modern and not-so-modern book... including parts of the Bible! Still waiting for Chryso to give us her book count.... and glad you will start contributing a bit more, EmilyAnn. It deals with the famed Inquisition alien hunter space marines and the sort of psychological impact it has to be separated from their brothers for the purpose of dealing with shadowy threats to the Imperium. Well paced and ending with a surprising revelation about the beginning of the infestation of the colony world the main mission is set on. Star Trek: The Fall: Revelation and Dust (406 pages) by David R. George III Slow pacing at first, but ended with quite the shocker. I know when I lived in Atlanta it was impossible to get anywhere, so I guess things have not changed much. I would like to declare Opening to God by Thomas H. Green as a challenge book. In my visit at a Walmart somewhere between here and McMinnville, TN, I bought Divergent as a bribe for myself to get in the car and come the rest of the way home instead of going to sleep. By Sunday evening, I'll have finished North and South (400 pages). By Monday evening, I'll have finished Uncle Tom's Cabin (467 pages) By Wednesday evening, I'll probably have finished A Tale of Two Cities (372 pages). After that? Well, after that we'll see.
