The county college is putting on Les Miserables this fall! That's exciting. I'm intrigued (to see it, not be in it...all of the parts require a vocal range too high for me, I think).

You could be the Inkeeper's wife. She doesn't have high notes.

Yeah, I noticed that. The audition release does have her in my range. But unfortunately, my work schedule doesn't allow me to commit to regular rehearsals. Technichally, I could give up working nights, but I'd take a big hit in my paycheck if I did. Not smart to do that anymore.

But what if every tear you cry will seed the ground where joy will grow?

What if?

Indeed. The more I know, the more I recognize the beauty :) ............. and unfortunately the ugly :(

Worth it.

(At least in my opinion anyway)

Today was a beautiful day.

God really does make everything new. And every so often, He does it using me. I am so blessed.

And now, 11+ hours of sweet dreams...

First two hours of my day:

Food

Walk

Prayer

Sunshine!

Now, books. I love my day off. (And Friday is Bride Day on TLC. Not that I'm excited or anything.)

My arms are a little pink already from being outside, The best part about being Italian is the pink will change to tan almost overnight. Haha.

Found out today my aunt and uncle are coming to visit next weekend, and that we're going to eat our way through the Amish market. Totally down for that.

Dad brought home a bridal magazine today, and gave it to me sheepishly.

"I thought you might like this," he said.

"Aw, that was nice of you!" I said. "Thanks, Daddy."

"I had to smuggle it out to my truck."

"...Why?"

"You know, I didn't want anybody seeing me with it."

"...How come?"

"That ain't manly. Come on now."

I love him so so so much. LOL

“Dear brothers and sisters, how hard it is, in our time, to make the ultimate decisions! The temporary seduces us. We are victims of a trend that pushes us to the temporary ... as if we wanted to stay teenagers for life! We should not be afraid of the agreed commitments, commitments that involve and affect the whole life! In this way, our lives will be fruitful!” --Pope Francis

Praying for the grace to keep showing up, even when it's tough.
