Ya the cops also didn't find a reason to have a homicide guy interview Zimmerman. They just let a narcotics guy do it. And if this 17 year old would of have been killed by ANYBODY in a situation such as this and there was no arrest there would be the same reaction. How dare you say that ? I thought catholics were pro life here ? I'm done for awhile.

There may be a hunt by white vigilantes for innocent young black men in Florida — if it exists, the figures show this is a limited phenomenon. The dad is upset and stated he thought race was the reason for everything. People who knew Zimmerman. (back and white) said they don't believe Zimmerman was racist.

From what I've read here in the local papers, read online, heard or seen on tv and radio, i think Zimmerman screwed up, though probably not first degree murder. This needs to be investigated by FDLE. Kudos to Dateline for giving a pretty balanced report.

This is not about race for me. This is about a 17 year old being killed and everyone looking the other way whileno one gets arrested. I could care less what color George is. If you think that's my motivation and where my rage is coming from over this you're completly wrong. GodBless.

Which they probably did because they didn't think it warranted a murder charge. DB it has nothing to be with being pro-life, we are pro-life, but we are also pro logic. You are dealing with this as an emotional issue and we are not, it doesn't mean we are not feeling for the familys involved, we are. You are affected by the death of the victim, I think we are reacting to the garbage hoopla brought on by special agenda and the feeding frenzy of the media.

The point of neighborhood watch is to increase awareness of the goings on in a neighborhood and to report unusual situations to the police. If you are involved in neighborhood watch you are not given police powers. The duty is to report and then let the police use the information as they see fit.

If I we being followed through my neighborhood, I would likely run. But I am not beyond confronting people especially if there are witnesses. Following someone is in my opinion an act of aggression. I might be a little biased in this opinion by the fact that I am female.

Zimmerman became the aggressor once he got out and gave chase after the operator told him not to. On top of that being the " watch captian" he was not suppossed to have a gun. Doesn't matter if he had a permit or not. On top of that in 2005 he was arrested for assulting an officer. He also had complaints of domestic violence. He will not stand a chanch in court. He will go to prison like he deserves for murdering an innocent kid. Hope it was worth it trying to play cops and batman. Now he needs to come forward and appologise to the Martins which he hasn't done yet. Geez you think someone who was completely innocent would appologise to the victims parents in such a tragedgy. Nope he hasn't. Until he comes forward and says sorry people will not be able to forgive him myself included. Its funny how some have turned Zimmerman into the victim. Really crazy. God Bless Trayvon Martin and his family. Prayers for all involved including the Zimmermans.
